The Solution Manager is a critical member of the Professional Services team, managing engagements with potentially up to eight midsized to large clients concurrently. The Solution Manager role will develop strong relationships with the client, develop a deep understanding of the client’s needs, and drive the overall success of each client engagement. The Solution Manager will then determine how to best leverage resources while managing deliverables, timelines, budgets, status reports, etc., and maintaining the profitability of the project. The Solution Manager will spend time, on site or remotely, with each client and provide guidance and direction to the team (1-20 consultants). Another key responsibility is understanding the commercial aspects of each account while proactively managing OpenSymmetry's financial risk and raising concerns to management.
