About The Position

Synera is seeking a Solution Engineer who is passionate about automation and AI, enjoys tackling complex challenges, collaborating with customers, and crafting innovative workflows. In this role, you will work with exceptional engineers to build workflows connecting over 80 tools (CAD, simulation, costing, and more) and transform complex problems into automated solutions. You will have the opportunity to work with major companies like BMW, Airbus, and NASA, and contribute to solving diverse engineering challenges.

Requirements

• Technical background in Computational, Automation, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience in working with customers, demonstrating strong communication skills and the ability to showcase business value with technical solutions.
• Experience with CAD/CAE tools (e.g. OptiStruct, Siemens NX, CATIA, ANSYS, Nastran, Abaqus, LS-DYNA etc.) and scripting (Python, C#).
• Deep engagement with AI for solving technical challenges.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in both English and German.
• Enjoy collaborating with customers and explaining complex topics clearly and engagingly.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to understand their engineering challenges and provide solutions.
• Build custom agents and workflows that connect various tools (CAD, simulation, costing, etc.).
• Automate complex engineering processes and simulations.
• Create teaser demos for sales teams to help land clients faster.
• Participate in hackathons at customer sites to develop innovative solutions.
• Consult customers on the best approaches to use Synera's software.
• Participate in knowledge exchange sessions with fellow Solution Engineers and Forward Deployed Engineers.
• Respond to incoming support tickets to ensure a fast response time.
