About The Position

As the Solution Advisor (SA) Senior Specialist, you will be the go-to person for any solution or product questions within the sales team. In this role, you will engage with customers at all levels, shaping their digital transformation journey by demonstrating how SAP BTP can accelerate innovation, unlock data-driven insights, and create business value. You will act as both a trusted advisor and a thought leader, bridging the gap between technology and business outcomes. You will leverage your deep expertise in specific solutions to support the entire sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to post-sale customer support. Additionally, you will assist customers in expanding their current SAP footprint to maximize value for their organization.

Requirements

  • Professional experience with software/IT organizations, preferably in a solution-specific segment
  • SAP product experience and/or 3-5 years of relevant solutions
  • Working knowledge of Cloud, Hosted Services, and Software as a Service/Platform as a Service models in the Business-to-Business Environment
  • Viewed as a solutions/Lines of Business/Industry expert across SAP with a track record of success
  • Focus on creating compelling storylines and themes for customer interactions
  • Ability to quickly understand customer business goals and ensure they are at the center of recommended solutions
  • Passion and energy in all customer interactions
  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional work experience
  • Proven track record in presales, solution engineering, or customer-facing technical roles.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences.
  • Strong executive presence
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and lead conversations on digital transformation.

  • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice To Haves

  • strong knowledge of SAP BTP with emphasis on application development, AI/ML, HANA Cloud, API management, and integration.
  • Hands-on experience with application development tools/languages (e.g. low / pro code development, Mendix, Salesforce, Javascript, Python, etc.) and/or integration tools (e.g. Mulesoft or Boomi).
  • Detailed knowledge of hyperscaler offerings such as Azure, GCP, or AWS.
  • Experience in building and presenting solution architectures for enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, articulating SAP BTP’s value proposition and differentiation.
  • Design and deliver compelling demonstrations, proofs-of-concept, and architectural guidance aligned to customer needs.
  • Drive customer adoption and consumption of BTP solutions, ensuring business value realization.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (sales, product management, services, customer success, and partner ecosystem) to ensure consistent engagement and alignment.
  • Provide thought leadership through customer engagements, events, blogs, webinars, and industry forums.
  • Continuously develop deep expertise in SAP BTP, industry trends, and emerging technologies (AI, ML, data-driven applications).
