About The Position

The Solution Consultant II supports the successful implementation of supply chain roadmap, rollout of global replenishment platforms and solutions in Canada, and will ensure all existing replenishment solutions run as designed and available to business every day, working in close collaboration with Business stakeholders, Global and Local Technology partners to enable business goals. The Solution Consultant II is a subject matter expert (SME) of existing WM Canada Replenishment solutions (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Procurement, Order Management) with in-depth understanding of business processes and underlying technology / architecture enabling these processes. The role will have strong knowledge of Global platforms and products, AI tools, integration with other Walmart products and third-party applications. The role will explore opportunities to implement these capabilities in Canada, working closely with Global Product and Engineering teams. The role will be critical for implementation of a portfolio of replenishment products, supporting and owning deliverables in discovery, design, development, integration, testing, deployment and hypercare as part of a diverse team of business stakeholders, global partners and local product team. The role will support all existing replenishment solutions, ensuring they are available to business, through issue management and resolution, root cause analysis, engineering support, market testing and deployment in collaboration with global and local Technology support teams. Responsibilities also involve supporting management in program intake processes, resourcing, estimations and budgeting / financial tracking, while maintaining best practices in project/program management and agile methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • 1 to 3 years’ related experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Procurement and Order Management operations and/or technology management, management consulting or similar domain, with robust understanding of supply chain end to end.
  • 1 to 3 years of system implementation experience with Supply Chain Planning and Order Management packages (Blue Yonder, O9, SAP, Oracle, or similar.) in an omnichannel retail and/or logistics environment.
  • Experience with mapping and improving business processes; stakeholder management and requirements gathering; strong facilitation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with integrations, data flows, cloud technologies, testing, and incident resolution.
  • Experience working in an international context and/or matrixed delivery model.
  • Experience driving technology products using agile methodologies and a design thinking process within large organizations.
  • Strong analytical skills with both qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Required to travel to various sites across the GTA.
