About The Position

Derex Technologies Inc is seeking an experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in the InsureMO platform and the Managing General Agent (MGA) insurance market. The role designs and delivers scalable insurance solutions using InsureMO’s API-first architecture and middleware capabilities, and supports digital transformation by integrating AI-enabled solutions across enterprise insurance platforms.

The architect leads InsureMO implementation, customization, and optimization; designs solutions for policy administration, claims management, billing, and distribution; and ensures integration with core insurance systems. The position also provides architectural guidance to development teams, establishes technical best practices, and collaborates with enterprise architects, engagement leads, product teams, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical architectures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Strong hands-on experience with the InsureMO platform and its ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of MGA operations, delegated underwriting, and insurance distribution models.
• Experience designing enterprise integration solutions using APIs, microservices, and middleware technologies.
• Experience integrating AI/ML solutions into enterprise insurance platforms.
• Strong understanding of insurance core systems, including policy administration, claims management, billing, and distribution.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and drive architectural decisions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

• TOGAF or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification.
• Experience with cloud-native architecture and digital transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of API-first architecture, event-driven systems, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Familiarity with modern AI technologies and intelligent automation platforms.
• Experience working in Agile environments and leading distributed development teams.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end enterprise solutions using InsureMO APIs, microservices, and its integration framework.
• Define scalable, secure, high-performing architectures aligned with business objectives.
• Lead implementation, customization, and optimization of the InsureMO platform.
• Design solutions for policy administration, claims management, billing, and distribution channels.
• Ensure integration between InsureMO and core insurance systems.
• Design solutions for MGA operations and address delegated underwriting, regulatory requirements, reporting, and distribution processes.
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into underwriting automation, claims processing, fraud detection, and customer engagement workflows.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through intelligent automation.
• Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership to development teams.
• Establish best practices for integration, microservices, API design, security, and performance optimization.
• Partner with enterprise architects, engagement leads, product teams, and business stakeholders to define and deliver technology solutions.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures.
• Lead cross-functional technical teams and drive architectural decisions.
