About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in Application Architecture. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable and efficient software solutions. As a contractor, you will work closely with cross functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet business needs while ensuring alignment with architectural standards.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in Application Architecture, including design patterns, frameworks, and methodologies.
  • Proficient in cloud technologies and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience with microservices architecture and API design.
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps).
  • Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in software development and architecture.
  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect with a focus on Application Architecture.
  • Strong portfolio of successful projects demonstrating architectural expertise.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of data architecture and database design principles.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
  • Experience in leading architectural initiatives and driving change within organizations.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF).

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop application architecture solutions that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality product is delivered.
  • Lead architectural discussions and design reviews, providing guidance and mentorship to development teams.
  • Ensure compliance with architectural standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with application architecture and design.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the organization.
  • Document architectural designs, decisions, and processes for future reference and knowledge sharing.
