About The Position

Are you ready to build on the bleeding edge of enterprise cloud and AI? As a Solution Architect (SA) for Iron Mountain InSight® DXP, you are joining a high-energy team operating with the speed, grit, and innovation of a hyper-growth tech startup—backed by the scale of a global industry powerhouse.

Your mission is to ensure enterprise customers successfully build, deploy, and scale critical unstructured data and AI workloads on InSight® DXP. Operating as the essential bridge between solution design and production build, you won't just draw diagrams—you will get hands-on in the code, tuning extraction models, constructing automated pipelines, and benchmarking non-functional requirements (NFRs) across complex cloud environments.

This isn't a passive maintenance role. As a frontline builder solving real-world customer deployment friction, you will actively test platform limits, build reusable blueprints, and partner directly with R&D to help define the InSight® DXP capabilities of tomorrow.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Data Engineering, or Software Engineering supporting enterprise cloud platforms.
• Hands-on Scripting Proficiency: Active experience in Python, Bash, SQL, and REST/GraphQL API integration development.
• Cloud & Data Stack Expertise: Strong technical background in GCP or Azure infrastructure, MongoDB/PostgreSQL, and cloud-native serverless architecture.
• AI/ML & IDP Mastery: Deep practical understanding of document classification, OCR/ICR extraction, schema design, and model fine-tuning.
• Startup Growth Mindset: Thrives in fast-paced environments with a bias for action, creative problem-solving, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and hands-on implementation of custom enterprise use cases, ensuring platform scalability, security, and performance.
• Architect and build automated ingestion data pipelines, custom API connections, and intelligent document processing (IDP) workflows operating flawlessly at scale.
• Configure and tune machine learning models, Document AI extraction pipelines, and Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) validation workflows for accuracy and speed.
• Guarantee system throughput and p95 processing latency limits against strict customer NFRs before handing solutions over to post-sales execution.
• Ensure architectures adhere to strict enterprise security standards, high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and multi-tenant data isolation parameters.
• Develop version-controlled code repositories, reusable integration patterns, and standardized solution topology blueprints.
• Work side-by-side with customer developers and system integrator (SI) teams, guiding cloud migrations and mentoring engineering staff on platform best practices.
• Partner with account teams to conduct technical pitches, execute Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and eliminate complex technical deployment friction.
• Relay real-world technical edge cases, model performance data, and builder feedback directly to Core Engineering to drive next-generation platform features.
