Solution Architects assess a projects technical feasibility, as well as implementation risks. They are responsible for the design and implementation of the overall technical and solution architecture. They define the structure of a system, its interfaces, the solution principles guiding the organisation, the software design and the implementation. The scope of the Solution Architects role is defined by the business issue at hand. To fulfil the role, a Solution Architect utilises business and technology expertise and experience. Job Description - Grade Specific Solution/Delivery Architect - Responsible for the application or domain architecture of a solution, including its assembly and integration into the existing landscape. In alignment with the principles, define the structure of the system, its interfaces, and the implementation. Responsible for the management and mitigation of technical risks, ensuring that the solution services can be delivered by the chosen technology components.

Requirements

  • Utilises business and technology expertise and experience.
  • Capgemini Architects certification level 1 or 2 (preferred).
  • Relevant security certifications (preferred).
  • IAF and/or industry certifications such as TOGAF 9 or equivalent (preferred).

Responsibilities
