Solution Architect - ServiceNow

The Whole GroupMissoula, MT

About The Position

At The Whole Group, we are redefining what consulting looks like in an AI-powered world. Our mission is clear: drive customer and revenue transformation on ServiceNow by leveraging the next generation of agentic workflows and AI-powered enterprise solutions. We operate on a next-generation consulting model—one that's built to break traditional norms and accelerate time to value. By partnering closely with ServiceNow’s leading platform and product teams, we design the fastest, most assured delivery models to generate real, measurable outcomes and strategic impact for modern, forward-thinking organizations. We are seeking a strategic and hands-on ServiceNow Solution Architect to lead the design of intelligent, scalable, and secure solutions across the ServiceNow platform. This role translates complex business requirements into robust architectures, drives delivery quality across engagements, and supports commercial teams in pre-sales and solutioning. At TWG, Solution Architects are technical authorities and trusted client advisors. You don't just design — you defend, validate, and elevate the quality of everything built under your architecture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions at scale.
  • Deep platform expertise across ServiceNow architecture, CMDB, security, scripting, and integration methods.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM modules (CSM, SOM, FSM), FSO (Insurance and Banking), and Finance & Supply Chain Operations (SPO, SLO, APO).
  • Experience with ServiceNow Agentic AI and third-party AI integrations.
  • Familiarity with ISVs including Logik.AI, Tenon, and others relevant to core competency areas.
  • Strong Agile delivery experience and comfort working across multiple concurrent engagements.
  • Exceptional communication — you translate technical architecture into business outcomes for any audience.
  • Active AI tool usage — you work faster and smarter using AI across the architecture and delivery lifecycle.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) — required.
  • Certified Implementation Specialist in at least 2 modules (CSM, FSM, SOM, FSO, SPO, SLO, or APO) — required.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Application Developer (CAD) — preferred.
  • Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Master Architect (CMA) — preferred.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP) and enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
  • Background in consulting, solution sales, or managed services environments.
  • Experience delivering digital transformation programs with ServiceNow as the core platform.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end architectural design and solutioning for ServiceNow implementations across CSM, SOM, FSM, FSO, SPO, SLO, and APO.
  • Define technical standards, design patterns, and governance practices that drive quality and consistency across delivery teams.
  • Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, advise on platform capabilities, and translate business needs into durable, scalable designs.
  • Architect integration strategies using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and ServiceNow Data Fabric.
  • Validate configurations and customizations across projects — maintaining platform integrity and catching technical debt before it compounds.
  • Act as technical thought leader and trusted advisor on your engagements, enabling teams to build with confidence and clients to invest with trust.
  • Support the sales cycle with pre-sales solutioning, technical validation, and platform expertise during proposal development.
  • Stay current on ServiceNow releases, Agentic AI capabilities, and ISV partners including Logik.AI and Tenon.
  • Apply AI tools to accelerate solution design, documentation, and architectural validation.
