Requirements

• Deep knowledge of core GCP services (Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud SQL, PubSub, MemoryStore, GCS, Networking, IAM etc.).
• Proven track record in modernizing legacy applications across diverse technology stacks.
• Hands‑on experience designing and implementing microservices, containerized workloads (Kubernetes/GKE), serverless solutions, and event‑driven architectures.
• Ability to design scalable, resilient, and secure architectures in cloud environments.
• Strong client‑facing communication, advisory, and presentation skills.
• Experience leading or contributing to enterprise‑wide cloud adoption journeys.
• App-Cloud-Google mandatory skill.
• More than 10 years of experience.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with industry‑specific applications and modernization challenges in the automotive domain.
• Experience in estimating and optimizing cloud spend for large portfolios.
• Exposure to modern engineering practices supporting cloud‑native delivery (DevOps & CI/CD).
• Experience leveraging Generative AI (e.g., Vertex AI, LLMs) to accelerate application modernization, automate assessments, and enhance developer productivity.
• Ability to influence organizational adoption of new technologies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Drive consistent GCP adoption across 1500+ applications spanning multiple business units.
• Collaborate with product teams to evaluate workloads, estimate cloud costs, and support execution of modernization strategies.
• Provide architectural guidance, best practices, and frameworks to ensure scalable, secure, and cost‑effective cloud solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to client leadership and product teams, ensuring alignment with enterprise cloud strategy.
• Establish architectural patterns, guardrails, and reusable assets to accelerate adoption.
• Partner with engineering teams during migration and modernization phases to resolve technical challenges.
