About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill a Solution Architect I opening for our client. This is a remote position with a duration of 6 months. The primary responsibilities include designing and delivering AI solutions and enterprise solution architectures for the Mythos AI platform, translating enterprise architecture designs into detailed technical and physical designs, and guiding engineering teams on AI/ML model integration, APIs, access controls, SLM execution, telemetry, observability, and guardrails. The role provides architecture guidance throughout the SDLC, from design through production, ensuring solutions align with architecture standards, security, scalability, reliability, governance, and SRE practices. The Solution Architect will collaborate with Enterprise Architects, engineering, SRE, Agile teams, business stakeholders, and SMEs, and evaluate technical approaches, emerging technologies, cost, performance, security, and risk. Participation in architecture governance, solution design, testing, deployment, and technical decision-making is also expected. Travel to Buffalo, NY every 4–6 weeks is required, and an Eastern/Central time zone is preferred. The scope of responsibilities includes developing conceptual, logical, and physical solution architectures, researching and applying modern AI, cloud, software architecture, and technology trends, and supporting secure engineering, threat modeling, vulnerability mitigation, and operational readiness. The role ensures delivered solutions comply with enterprise architecture, risk, and regulatory standards. There are no direct supervisory responsibilities, but the role provides technical architecture leadership and guidance to Agile and engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience, or 9 years of combined higher education/relevant experience.
  • Experience with AI solutions, solution architecture, software engineering, and application integration.
  • Experience with multiple programming languages and software architecture patterns.
  • Strong technical communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience researching and applying modern technology trends.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
