About The Position

IronArch Technology is seeking a Solution Architect to serve as a critical bridge between Growth, Delivery, and Solutions & Innovation. This role is responsible for shaping winning technical solutions, developing differentiated approaches, and ensuring alignment between customer mission needs, proposal strategies, and delivery capabilities. Working closely with Business Development, Capture, Proposal, and Delivery leadership, the Solution Architect leads the development of compelling, executable solutions that position IronArch for growth while ensuring successful execution after award. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, this role serves as a strategic partner to Growth leadership throughout the business development lifecycle, contributing to opportunity qualification, technical solution development, proposal support, oral presentations, and transition-to-delivery planning. This position combines technical leadership, business development support, innovation strategy, and customer engagement to help IronArch expand existing customer relationships and win new business across federal civilian and defense markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related discipline.
  • 10–15 years of experience supporting federal government technology programs.
  • 5+ years developing technical solutions for federal pursuits and proposals.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting capture and proposal efforts valued at $10M+.
  • Authored or directed winning technical volumes on multiple competitive federal awards.
  • Experience participating in oral presentations and technical challenges as part of competitive federal pursuits.
  • Experience developing technical approaches across one or more of the following: Digital Transformation, Cloud Modernization, Cybersecurity, DevSecOps, Enterprise IT, Data & Analytics, AI-Enabled Solutions, or Agile Software Development.
  • Strong presentation and executive communication skills, with the ability to engage senior government leadership.
  • Ability to work effectively across Growth, Delivery, Engineering, and Executive Leadership.
  • Public trust, secret preferred (active clearance preferred; must be eligible to obtain and maintain)
  • Experience using AI-assisted tools responsibly to improve engineering productivity, technical analysis, documentation, and solution design.
  • Familiarity with designing, integrating, or architecting AI- or ML-enabled components as part of a federal technical solution, including evaluating AI tools and frameworks for suitability and risk.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting VA, DHA, HHS, CMS, DoD, AFCEC, or other federal civilian agencies.
  • Experience leading technical volumes on winning proposals.
  • AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Security, Agile, SAFe, TOGAF, or architecture certifications.
  • Existing federal customer relationships and market knowledge.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and eligible to obtain federal security clearances as required.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Growth team and Capture Managers to qualify opportunities and assess technical fit.
  • Participate in and lead opportunity strategy sessions, gate reviews, and pursuit decisions.
  • Engage with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to understand mission needs and technical challenges.
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing programs and customer accounts.
  • Support and drive recompete, expansion, and new business pursuits across IronArch's portfolio.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the growth lifecycle.
  • Design comprehensive technical solutions that align customer requirements with IronArch capabilities.
  • Develop technical approaches that are innovative, executable, scalable, and cost-effective.
  • Translate customer challenges into differentiated technical solutions and operational outcomes.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, commercial solutions, and partner capabilities to strengthen solution offerings.
  • Develop solution roadmaps that integrate cybersecurity, cloud, data, AI/automation, DevSecOps, digital services, and platform modernization capabilities where appropriate.
  • Ensure solutions align with customer mission objectives and acquisition strategies.
  • Lead development of technical proposal content and solution narratives.
  • Author or oversee technical approaches, management approaches, transition plans, staffing concepts, and innovation strategies.
  • Develop technical discriminators that clearly differentiate IronArch from competitors.
  • Support and lead proposal color team reviews and technical evaluations.
  • Collaborate with pricing teams to develop Basis of Estimate (BOE) assumptions and staffing strategies.
  • Ensure technical solutions remain executable within proposed cost structures.
  • Lead technical preparation for oral presentations and customer demonstrations.
  • Present solutions to government executives, evaluators, and acquisition teams.
  • Translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support and lead customer workshops, technical exchanges, and solutioning sessions.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Delivery, Experience, Cybersecurity, Program Management, and Operations leaders to align enterprise capabilities with growth priorities.
  • Identify reusable assets, accelerators, methodologies, and best practices that improve win probability.
  • Maintain awareness of federal technology trends, customer priorities, and competitor capabilities.
  • Collaborate as needed to mature IronArch's technical offerings and solution catalog.
  • Own and continuously mature IronArch's repository of solution patterns, technical architectures, past performance references, and technical differentiators.
  • Lead technical collaboration with strategic partners, ensuring integrated solutions, clear workshare alignment, and differentiated team capabilities.
  • Ensure successful handoff from capture and proposal teams to delivery organizations.
  • Participate in kickoff and transition planning activities for newly awarded programs.
  • Validate that proposed solutions can be operationalized effectively.
  • Support technical risk identification and mitigation planning during transition and execution.
