About The Position

This role involves working with business stakeholders to refine user stories and business requirements, ensuring that designs and implementations meet business needs. The Solution Architect will design and propose efficient and cost-effective Azure infrastructure and deployment architectures, focusing on cost-effectiveness, high-availability, and security. The position requires resolving production issues within SLAs, managing cloud costs, monitoring usage, and forecasting future costs. The architect will provide technical leadership within a scrum team, manage external consultants and development teams, mentor team members, and ensure timely delivery within budget and scope. They will also conduct code reviews, act as a point of contact between headquarters and IT/business teams, gather technical requirements for global readiness, research and apply new technologies, create prototypes, and design architectures including data and software models. The goal is to ensure the right tools are used for the job.

Responsibilities

  • Design and propose efficient and cost-effective Azure infrastructure necessary to support implementations.
  • Propose necessary Azure deployment for the application being developed.
  • Make sure the proposed deployment architecture is adequate and will meet the needs for cost-effectiveness, high-availability, and security.
  • Resolve and assist with resolution of production issues within established SLAs.
  • Given in-depth knowledge, assist with resolution of production issues and service interruptions.
  • Own the resolution on the technical side and involve necessary human resource to restore the service.
