About The Position

Solidworks Designer for a client in the naval product manufacturing industry. This position is responsible for using Solidworks to design motors and gearboxes, etc., from start to finish. This is a temp to possible perm role that is a long-term need for the client. This role must be worked on-site.

Requirements

• 2+ years of mechanical design
• Solidworks
• Machine or heavy metal equipment design
• Assembly drawings

Nice To Haves

• Understanding of welding, castings, and/or assembly is incredibly preferred

Responsibilities

• Using Solidworks to design motors and gearboxes from start to finish.
