About The Position

Perform general laborer tasks for Grant County Public Works Road Districts at various locations throughout Grant County and Solid Waste Ephrata Landfill. This position is primarily assigned to Solid Waste. This job class is represented by the Grant County Public Employees' Association. All employees hired into this position are required to become and remain members in good standing of the Union within 30 days of beginning employment. To assist with the overall operations of the Grant County Public Works Department. This Position aides the Public Works Road Districts and Solid Waste Department with assignments such as general laborer, waste pick-up, and flagging/traffic control.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Washington State Driver's License with proof of automobile insurance.
• Strong ethical integrity in working with the public and in government operations.
• Must become and remain a member in good standing of the Union within 30 days of beginning employment.
• Resume, cover letter, and a minimum of three references are required.
