Under the direction of the Solid Dose Supervisor and Lead, the Solid Dose Utility position will be responsible for inspecting and polishing machine tooling. This position will function as a secondary machine operator during machine changeovers. This position will also assist in the Fit for Use processes to ensure granulations meet optimal run ability characteristics.

Requirements

  • 0-1 year of experience
  • Knowledge of basic math
  • Skills in troubleshooting

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a manufacturing or food processing environment preferred
  • Experience working with powders and high speed manufacturing equipment preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist operators in daily machine operations such as troubleshooting
  • Weigh buckets and/or barrels of tablets, capsules, softgels
  • Perform quality checks on tablets and/or capsules
  • Create labels
  • Wrap pallets of finished product and move them to the warehouse
  • Co-mill product
  • Assist operators during machine changeovers, including washing of machines and machine parts, to meet established standards of quality and efficiency
  • Assist in the softgel area by filling trays, conducting inspections, and cleaning equipment
  • Inspect, polish and measure tooling and record data in tooling software program
  • Operate the capsule Checkweigher
  • Perform daily verification of scale accuracy
  • Enter data in excel files
  • Perform job duties in a manner that meets company Quality and Safety standards
