Solicitor Supervising Attorney
About The Position
This is a high-level attorney position within the Office of the City Solicitor. The Solicitor Supervising Attorney provides leadership in case management for trials and projects, and supervises a team of attorneys. This role has lead responsibilities on all matters that proceed to trial. While trial preparation and appearances may be delegated to attorneys of a lesser grade, the Solicitor Supervising Attorney acts as a courtroom prosecutor and will also litigate matters on behalf of the City of Atlanta. Additionally, this role provides and assumes leadership to subordinate attorneys and staff.
Requirements
- High-level attorney experience.
- Experience in case management for trials and projects.
- Supervisory experience.
- Courtroom prosecution experience.
- Litigation experience on behalf of a city.
- Leadership experience with subordinate attorneys and staff.
