About The Position
Seeking an experienced Sole Engineer for a 40m Westport. This is an excellent opportunity to join a program with a great American owner and a professional crew of 7. The yacht operates heavily throughout South Florida and the Bahamas and is based year-round in Fort Lauderdale. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and great energy. Great opportunity for candidates with ties to South Florida!
Requirements
- Ideally holds AEC 1 & 2 or Y4 certification; however, proven longevity and relevant experience will be prioritized
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must have experience in similar sized vessels with strong references
- All documents up to date
- Must speak English to a high standard
- Must be willing to comply to a criminal background check prior to employment
