About The Position

Dynomax, Inc. is seeking a Soldering Technician for its growing Electrical Connectors division. The role assembles cable harnesses and circuit board connectors and builds and inspects assemblies for conformity to prints and specifications. It is a 1st Shift position in a clean, air-conditioned, well-lit shop. Successful candidates will have a strong background in assembling small components.

Requirements

• Ability to hand solder thru-hole and surface mount components and perform mesh wire splicing.
• Ability to pre-tin components and wires over a solder pot for extended periods of time.
• Ability to follow manufacturing procedures and written work instructions.
• Ability to understand wiring schemes, assembly drawings, and callouts.
• Ability to handle very small parts with tweezers and occasional use of a microscope.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills, and familiarity with computers.
• Attention to detail and quality of work.
• Strong background in the assembly of small components.

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of experience in connector assembly or SMT rework.
• Previous experience at an AS9100 or ISO 9001 company.
