Spartronics is offering a sign-on bonus of up to $1,500, awarded based on performance on the skills assessment. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of soldering experience in manufacturing or related environments.
  • Ability to interpret work instructions and basic technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in operating soldering and inspection tools.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English to interpret work instructions, documentation, and safety requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified or trained to IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 standards.
  • Experience soldering aerospace, defense, or medical device assemblies.
  • Exposure to continuous improvement or lean manufacturing activities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hand soldering of basic SMT and through-hole components under supervision.
  • Support operation of Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment for SMT and through-hole boards.
  • Inspect own work for visible defects and escalate issues as needed.
  • Follow detailed work instructions and maintain compliance with ESD and safety protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized soldering workstation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, ITAR).
  • Contribute to process documentation, training, and ongoing improvements that drive operational success.
  • Perform other duties or support other areas as needed, based on business requirements or production flow.
  • Must be U.S. persons within the definition of ITAR, with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
