Requirements

  • Must be 18+ years old.
  • Experience in direct or commission-based sales preferred.
  • Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and walking for extended periods in various weather conditions.
  • Applicants must hold a valid California Home Improvement Salesperson (HIS) License. If a candidate is selected but does not yet possess this license, they will be hired initially as a Sales Scheduler (paid at minimum wage and capped at 35 hours/week). Upon successfully obtaining the HIS license, the employee will transition into the Solar Sales Direct Seller role, which is 100% commission-based.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage sales in a residential area.
  • Knock doors, network, and follow up on referrals.
  • Monitor sales activities and hit performance goals.
  • Present solar solutions to homeowners, explain financing, and guide customers through the process.
  • Help homeowners understand the benefits of going solar—cost savings, clean energy, and energy independence.
  • Attend weekly training meetings to sharpen skills, boost earnings, and unlock career growth opportunities.
