About The Position

Blue Raven Solar, a Complete Solar company, is a residential solar company focused on making clean, renewable energy accessible and affordable. The company provides customers with a connected experience spanning sales, installation, financing, and ongoing support, and aims to build a sustainable future through renewable energy. The Solar Crew Lead oversees and coordinates solar energy system installations, guiding a crew of 2–4 installers. The role emphasizes safe work practices, installation quality, efficient project completion, and customer service. Work is primarily performed at customers’ homes in the local area, with occasional travel and periodic weekend or evening work depending on workload.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience with residential or commercial solar installation.
Familiarity with PV systems, varied installation locations, and troubleshooting.
Prior site construction experience and familiarity with construction-site safety practices.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to lift, climb, balance, stoop, and kneel.
Comfort working at heights in varied weather and roof conditions.
Compliance with OSHA standards.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a lead.
Experience working with AC wiring.

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead a crew of 2–4 installers each day.
Monitor safety risks and implement appropriate ORM procedures.
Ensure systems are installed quickly and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Explain the work and system to be installed to customers as needed.
Coordinate with fleet management as needed.
Keep job sites clean and presentable during and after installation.
Motivate and support the installation crew and resolve concerns as needed.
