About The Position

Green Ridge Solar is a rapidly growing residential and commercial solar & electrical contractor serving the entire state of Oregon. Founded by local Oregonians passionate about renewable energy, the company fosters a collaborative, forward-thinking, and positive work environment. We are seeking an experienced Solar Installer to join our team and contribute to our continued growth. The primary focus of this role is completing rooftop and ground-mounted solar installations for residential and commercial applications. You will work as part of a team, including an experienced licensed Electrician and at least two other installers, applying your solar construction skills daily. We are looking for motivated, hard-working individuals who take pride in their work, can provide an excellent customer experience, and are adaptable to various installation environments.

Requirements

Minimum 2 Years of installation experience
Valid Oregon driver’s license
Comfortable working on roofs and using ladders
Phenomenal work ethic with stamina for a physically demanding job
Work well in a team environment
Travel throughout the state as necessary

Responsibilities

Proper installation of all solar-related racking components on both roof-mounted and ground-mounted applications.
Complete understanding of Solar Array layouts & string sizing.
Flashing and roof penetration.
Installation of anchor points and execution of proper safety measures related to working on rooftops.
Maintain the standards set by GRP for professional, detailed installations that adhere to and follow all necessary code requirements.
Take responsibility for the accuracy of installations and daily tasks set by field Crew Lead.
Develop intimate knowledge of the materials and processes used in the installation of solar equipment.
Responsible for understanding full solar system operation and how it relates to the installation process.
Perform all work in a neat and clean manner, with attention to detail and proper solar function in mind.
Understand and adhere to all Code related requirements.
