About The Position
Solar Energy Solutions (SES) is seeking reliable and skilled Solar Installers to join its installation team. The role involves installing and maintaining solar energy systems for residential and light commercial clients, contributing to the delivery of high-quality sustainable energy solutions. The position suits someone with a construction background who enjoys hands-on outdoor work. Installers must be comfortable working in all weather conditions, traveling to various job sites, and occasionally staying overnight away from home. The employer offers comprehensive solar trade training. Previous solar installation or construction experience is preferred but not mandatory. Solar Energy Solutions was formed in 2006 and delivers renewable energy solutions across Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, Ohio, Illinois, and West Virginia. Requirements
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring and safety codes.
- Ability to work at heights, lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check as a condition of employment.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as required.

Responsibilities
- Install solar panels, inverters, and mounting systems on rooftops and other structures.
- Ensure wiring and electrical connections meet safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to complete installations efficiently.
- Perform site assessments and provide input on optimal solar system layouts.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, secure job site.
- Troubleshoot issues and perform repairs when necessary.
