About The Position

This is an entry-level role focused on hands-on rooftop solar installation with on-the-job training provided. The position will be based out of our Centennial, CO location. We are seeking a motivated and team-oriented Solar Installer I to join our growing operations team.

Requirements

Construction experience and comfortable on roofs of varied height and slope
0-1 years of experience
Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance required
Must have a clean driving record for the last 3 years and a minimum of 5 years of driving experience, in accordance with PB insurance parameters — no exceptions
Must be motivated and a team player
Positive attitude with the willingness to learn and grow
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with a team
Must be able to lift panels (up to 50 lbs), climb ladders up to 30 times per day, and work in various weather conditions

Nice To Haves

Experience installing Solar PV is a plus.
Electrical Apprentice license or NABCEP certification is preferred.
Electrical knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Become familiar with the techniques, approaches, and fixtures of solar panel and battery installation
Assist with layout, assembly, and installation of solar arrays and mounting hardware
Assist with mechanical and structural mounting of racks, modules, and electrical equipment
Preparation and cleanup of job site
Communicate with customers in a professional, considerate manner
