About The Position
The Soil Scale Operator inspects and prepares laundered linen before it is delivered to customers. The role weighs, documents, and labels delivery carts, audits quantities for accuracy, and may load delivery carts onto assigned trucks. The operator also assists the Orders Clerk as needed and communicates order issues to the clerk. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Requires repetitive motions.
- Must be able to lift 35–40 lbs.
- Must be able to push or maneuver wheeled carts in excess of 450 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Examine laundered items to ensure cleanliness and serviceability.
- Weigh, document, and label delivery carts.
- Audit quantities for accuracy.
- Load assigned trucks with delivery carts as needed.
- Assist the Orders Clerk as needed.
- Communicate order issues to the Orders Clerk.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
