About The Position

The Production Soil Operator works as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility, handling merchandise safely, efficiently, and accurately as it moves into or out of the facility. The role prepares slings or carts/carriers for the wash floor, verifies and sorts merchandise, records ruined or damaged items, and maintains a safe and clean work environment while following production best practices.

Requirements

• Ability to understand required training and written and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet the attendance schedule.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the appropriate number of daily slings or carts/carriers for the wash floor.
• Verify merchandise type and quantity on the PUC card and segregate like items together in a sling.
• Identify, count, and total ruined or damaged merchandise and record it on the PUC card.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and observe best practices in production activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
