About The Position

The Soil Cart Washer is responsible for providing quality service and products to customers in a timely and professional manner. This role involves emptying trash and debris from soiled carts, pushing them into the cart wash machine, inspecting washed carts for cleanliness, tilting carts to remove excess water, and moving dry carts to a designated area. The position also requires inspecting carts and wheels for damages, needed repairs, and safety hazards, while adhering to standard operating procedures and HLAC requirements. The employee must meet quality and production standards and is expected to be punctual, have excellent attendance, and maintain a positive attitude. This position is located at our Plover, WI facility.

Requirements

  • Be able to stand on feet up to 10 hours a day.
  • Able to occasionally lift and stack carts weighing up to 85lbs.
  • Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, and pulling.

Responsibilities

  • Empty trash and debris from soiled carts.
  • Push soiled carts into the cart wash machine on the soil side.
  • Inspect finished carts on the clean side to ensure they are properly washed.
  • Tilt carts to remove excess water.
  • Move dry carts to designated area.
  • Inspect carts and wheels for damages, needed repairs, and safety hazards.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and HLAC requirements.
  • Meet quality and production standards.
  • Be on time.
  • Have excellent attendance.
  • Meet established production standards.
  • Follow all company safety rules.
  • Be able to work well with a diverse workforce.
  • Be able to follow directions given by their team lead and supervisor.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Possess and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Keep work area and the company premises clean and organized.
  • Be able to work past the schedule, as production issues may arise with or without notice.
  • Perform any other duties as supervisor/manager sees fit.
  • Cross-train in other positions per production needs.
