About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Software / Web Developer with an active TS/SCI clearance to support enterprise GEOINT applications within an NGA mission environment. The developer will work on an Agile/SAFe team to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain mission-critical web and software applications. This position supports the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and utilizes enterprise DevSecOps and CI/CD environments.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with eligibility to obtain a CI Polygraph.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical discipline, or equivalent education/training and professional or military experience.
  • Strong development experience with one or more of the following: Python, Java, JavaScript, React, .NET, or Visual Basic.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or Nexus.
  • Experience with SQL and enterprise databases.
  • Experience deploying applications to on-premises/data-center environments.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Agile/Scrum, and DevSecOps.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise web and software applications.
  • Translate user and mission requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Develop clean, secure, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Build automated unit and integration tests and resolve software defects.
  • Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Utilize enterprise DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines for application builds and deployments.
  • Integrate applications with databases, APIs, geospatial systems, and enterprise data sources.
  • Support applications across development, test, and production environments.
  • Troubleshoot application, database, integration, and infrastructure issues.
  • Participate in SAFe/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, and retrospectives.
  • Maintain technical documentation and recommend improvements to performance, reliability, and maintainability.
