About The Position

Hardware Engineering is seeking a seasoned Engineering Project Manager to oversee internal software application development. The role owns end-to-end project delivery, including strategic planning, tracking progress against milestones, managing risks and mitigation plans, and maintaining structured communication across stakeholders. The ideal candidate has software development experience, builds and maintains clear roadmaps, and turns complex or ambiguous work into actionable plans to support predictable, high-quality delivery. This role bridges business stakeholders and the software engineering team, acting as the primary liaison between groups while guiding product vision and prioritizing features. The project manager works closely with Engineering, Design, QA, and partner teams to deliver initiatives on time while navigating complex stakeholder dynamics. Responsibilities span the full program lifecycle, from strategy and planning through deployment and post-launch support, and include identifying timeline risks, proposing mitigation paths, communicating status and trade-offs to executive leadership, and aligning goals, dependencies, risks, and resources. The role also emphasizes relationship building through influence, candid feedback, and accountability; ownership of documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication; and continuous improvement of PMO processes, change management, execution quality, and strategic alignment.

  • Strong planning, organizational, cross-functional collaboration, and process optimization capabilities.
  • Tactical experience implementing projects using Agile methodologies across distributed teams.
  • Ability to grasp complex ideas quickly and resolve conflicts across cross-functional teams, including engineers and designers.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective vendor relationships through clear communication, goal alignment, and regular progress updates.
