About The Position

This is a real engineering internship with a state agency modernizing its test automation. It offers mentorship, code reviews, and exposure to a production-grade stack including Java 17, Spring Boot, Selenium, Cucumber, and JUnit. The role involves building and expanding automated tests, creating test cases from user stories, supporting release verification, partnering with developers on shift-left quality, improving framework components, and assisting with defect triage.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a relevant degree
• Working Java/OOP knowledge (coursework and projects count)
• Basic testing concepts (JUnit, defect lifecycle)
• Basic SQL
• Exposure to Maven
• Basic scripting (Bash, PowerShell, or Python)
• Agile comfort
• Must be local to Arizona with your city on your resume
• Own personal laptop required
• In-person interview availability within a week
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
