Requirements

Experience with reasonably complex software.
Understanding of basic office tools (MS office, work, outlook, excel, etc.).
Strong understanding and recognition of formal written requirements.
Ability to translate the requirements to test cases and test scenarios.
Significant attention to standards for testing.
Ability to accurately document failures.
Ability to research issues for defect creation.
Experience working with defect management tool(s).

Nice To Haves

Experience creating tools for setting up automated tests.
Interest in pursuing a path to automation.

Responsibilities

Work in tandem with Business Analysts, Developers and other QA resources.
Translate requirements to test cases and test scenarios.
Execute unit, system and acceptance test scenarios using internal and client created acceptance scripts.
Accurately document failures.
Research issues for defect creation.
Work with defect management tool(s).
