About The Position

GDIT is hiring a Software Tester to support customer activities and contribute to cyber security services. The position helps ensure operational IT capabilities provide timely, accurate, and secure information. The work takes place in a dynamic stakeholder environment within AWS and uses iterative Scrum techniques. The tester will work with software developers, requirements teams, and other stakeholders to understand intended functionality and test the system.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, information systems, information technology, cybersecurity, or a closely related discipline.
• 10 or more years of required experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Skills in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Scrum, and software testing.

Responsibilities

• Work with testers and software developers to develop and execute test plans and test cases.
• Develop test cases based on requirements.
• Record test case results.
• Perform black-box and white-box testing.
• Create test data for use by other members of the test team.
• Triage defects with members of the software development team.
• Identify and propose system improvements.
• Communicate with requirements and software development teams to understand intended functionality.
