About The Position
SAIC currently has an opening for a Software Tester to support the Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering and Integration (S3I) Directorate at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. This role is fully remote. The candidate for this position will provide Software Testing for Army Aviation Maintenance Software that support organizations under the Combat Capabilities Development Command, Aviation and Missile Center.

- Agile/Scrum participation (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives)

- Help desk support (issue reproduction and documentation)
- Test automation support
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web‑based applications
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
- Document test results, track defects, and verify resolution through collaboration with developers
- Document defects clearly and track them through resolution
- Validate data integrations with SQL databases
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other testers during sprint activities
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives
- Update test‑related tasks and statuses on the sprint board
- Support help desk investigations by reproducing and documenting reported issues
- Support test automation initiatives where applicable
