About The Position

Peraton is seeking a skilled software tester with test automation experience to join the test automation team on the Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC) program, which is part of the Navy’s Tomahawk Missile program. Peraton develops several TMPC applications that support tactical and training operations, including functions such as mission planning, data distribution, strike planning, rehearsal, coordination, execution, monitoring, control, reporting, and communications configuration and data management/delivery. The primary focus of this role is to develop and execute automated tests for both API and UI testing to verify system behavior. This role may offer a hybrid work arrangement but is primarily on-site in Santa Clara, CA. In addition to testing responsibilities, the individual will perform non-test activities as needed to support the team's objectives.

Requirements

2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree
US Citizen and Active DoD Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
Experience with test automation for API and UI testing
Working knowledge of Python and Selenium
Strong analytical skills
Strong writing skills
Ability to follow procedures
Ability to work within a collaborative team environment
Attention to detail
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Familiarity with configuration management tools, including Azure DevOps (TFS)
Familiarity with Visual Studio or other IDE
