Software Test Engineer

Tapestry Solutions, A Boeing Company, is seeking a Software Test Engineer in Maryland Heights, MO. and/or Hazelwood, MO. In this role you will test software for the F-15 Mission Planning systems. Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years experience developing and maintaining software test documentation
- 3+ years experience with test and validate to ensure software meets operational and functional requirements
- U.S. Citizenship Required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 5+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and 9+ years of directly related work experience OR 13+ years of related, relevant experience
- Experience with test or system integration
- Experience with software configuration management tools such as Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps
- Experience writing and analyzing test procedures and software requirements
- Automated test experience
- Understanding of Mission Planning Software usage
- Experience with OFP (Operational Flight Program) SIL (System Integration Lab) testing
Responsibilities
- Execute and maintain test procedures and test cases for new and existing products
- Performs test in accordance with approved test plan/procedure and applicable policies
- Report and manage defects
- Regression test software fixes for new and existing products
- Participate in Requirements and Functional Specifications reviews of new features and verify these requirements are reflected in the test specifications
- Document, troubleshoot and follow up on issues found during testing
- Actively work with other members of the team to constantly improve the process, tools and effectiveness of the team
- Assist Development with replicating and debugging problems
