About The Position

Worked in Next Generation Sequencing platform software or similar. Worked on Instrument/Embedded systems software testing. Need to be present in the lab 5 days a week as the role is to work on the instruments.

Requirements

• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, JavaScript/Typescript, Groovy or Python.
• Proficiency in linux shell scripting.
• Knowledge of popular test automation frameworks, particularly Playwright + TypeScript.
• Understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with API testing and understanding of RESTful APIs.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and experience with Jenkins.
• Understanding of test data management.
• Familiarity with Test Management tools such as Jama/HPALM.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design effective and efficient test cases covering different scenarios and edge cases.
• Manage/create Requirements/Specification/Test Cases/RTM and Test summary reports in the tool for tracking User Needs to Report artificats.
• Identify issues, troubleshoot failures, and debug automation scripts.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
