About The Position

The Software Quality Testing Engineer thoroughly evaluates the software products according to the business standards or function requirements. The Software Quality Testing Engineer work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. The Software Quality Testing Engineer isolates, reproduces, and tracks defects and verifies fixes. Develops test data and procedures for ensuring the software products meet organization standards and end-user requirements. Very familiar with the software development cycle and quality assurance methodologies. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures. This is a remote position and you will report to the Director, Network Operations. This position is created specifically to assist with Humana's efforts to secure and, if awarded, transition into a new business opportunity. Please note that continued employment in this role is expressly contingent upon Humana's receipt of the business opportunity and a satisfactory transition into the work. In the event Humana does not pursue the opportunity or determines that a timely and satisfactory transition cannot be achieved, employment may be subject to termination.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or qualifying experience
• At least 3 years of technical experience
• Experience developing test data and procedures for ensuring the software products meet organization standards and end-user requirements
