About The Position

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full time Software Quality Engineer Associate to join our team supporting the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) program. In this role, you will support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements analysis, object oriented analysis & design, code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of languages such as C or C++. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require Final Secret government security clearance.

Requirements

Current US Citizenship
STEM Bachelor's degree required to apply
Ability to obtain Final Secret security clearance
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle models
Ability to interpret software design and code
Some travel will be required for this position
Ability to write code in C, C++, or Java
Microsoft Office Proficiency – Advanced use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools.
Independent Work Capability – Thrive in high‑complexity environments with shifting priorities and dynamic schedules.
Team Collaboration – Strong organizational and communication abilities; adept at working within cross‑functional teams.

Agile/Lean Development Experience
