About The Position

The Books QA team is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced Software Quality Engineer who is passionate about driving software quality improvements and enhancing the customer experience! As a Software Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for testing both existing and newly developed features across all supported Apple devices. You will create test plans, design test cases, and conduct gray-box, structural, and ad-hoc tests. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, contributing to the development of new features that will push our products to the next level! You’ll harness the power of the latest GenAI tools to deliver innovative solutions to challenging problems, ensuring Apple Books meet Apple’s standard for the highest level of quality.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or equivalent related field
• 2+ years of experience with setting up complex test environments and strong multi-tasking capabilities
• Excellent understanding of SQA methodologies & practices
• Excellent experience in end-user functional testing with a strong focus on the user experience
• Excellent organizational skills for bug reporting and tracking critical issues across multiple projects
• Ability to conduct thorough investigations, analyze system logs, and find root cause of issues

• Experience testing Apple Intelligence features with a solid understanding of the broader AI/ML ecosystem
