About The Position

Co-ops and interns at NLign have the opportunity to work on projects that make a difference in a wide range of exciting fields. Potential work responsibilities include updating and adding to the automated software suite (TestComplete), manually testing NLign software to ensure it is functioning properly, achieving a thorough understanding of business processes and everyday software usage, evaluating and analyzing results of testing, and documenting and communicating test results. NLign has a long history of working with co-op and intern students to help them achieve their professional goals, with many full-time engineers beginning their careers with NLign as co-ops or interns. The company emphasizes providing co-ops and interns with high-quality learning experiences tailored to individual goals. Co-op and intern students work closely with researchers to help develop and implement cutting-edge technology. Specific tasks vary based on the project and the individual’s skills, interests, knowledge, and aptitude, but will involve developing innovative solutions to solve customer problems.

Requirements

• Applicant must be eligible to receive a U.S. Security Clearance which at a minimum requires applicant to be a US Citizen.
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
• Be currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Preferred fields include Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Unit testing tools and methodologies knowledge and experience.
• Experience with a programming language.

Responsibilities

• Updates and adds to the automated software suite (TestComplete).
