Software QE Engineer Onsite Role in Sunnyvale California
About The Position
This is an onsite role in Sunnyvale, California, with a duration of 12 months. The Software QE Engineer will be responsible for software development and testing, requiring strong business analytical skills to understand critical business flows. The role involves designing and developing test automation frameworks, writing automated tests for iOS applications, and performing mobile app testing for iOS platforms. The engineer will also be involved in architecture discussions, functional and integration testing, and potentially performance testing. Familiarity with Agile methodology and DevOps tools is expected.
Requirements
- 8+ years’ experience in Software Development / Testing
- Strong business analytical skills
- Hands on Experience with Java and TypeScript programming
- Experience in designing and development Test Automation Framework from scratch using Playwright, Selenium
- Hands-on experience with Swift programming
- Ability to write and maintain automated tests for iOS applications
- Experience in Mobile app Testing for iOS platforms
- Writing native automation scripts using Swift and XCUITest (XCUI)
- Proven expertise through work experience in test automation scripting
- Strong debugging skills
- Strong analytics, reporting skills
- Ability to communicate risks and issues effectively and timely
- Familiarity with design patterns
- Exposure to DevOps tools like Jenkins/Kubernetes/docker/AWS
- Experience in Functional & integration testing
- Good experience in Agile Methodology, standard testing techniques and principles
- Self-motivated, proactive, and accountable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exposure to Performance Testing and knowledge of JMeter tools
