About The Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Software QA Tester to be a key resource on a technical services team. Requirements

7 Years Experience Testing Complex Web Applications
7 Years Testing all phases of Software Development Life Cycle
6 Years Advance Database/SQL Language
4 Years Testing automation experience with Java and TestNG
4 Years Experience creating automation test frameworks using Playwright
3 Years Experience with WAPT Pro, Jmeter, or other performance testing tools
3 Years Experience using GitHub CoPilot or other AI Tools to generate Test Scripts

Nice To Haves

2 Years Experience with Workflow Driven Automation
Work experience with Atlassian JIRA
Work experience with Zephyr
Experience working closely with TEA or another state or local agency
Experience working with Educator Prep Program and partnerships
Experience with Educator Certification

Responsibilities

Performs advanced computer systems analysis and team lead work, administering the daily operations and activities of testing teams within the QA division of IT (Information Technology).
Work involves planning, budgeting, and analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing systems.
Work with the project development teams to provide Software Testing Services.
Analyze user requirements, design documents and other documentation to develop detailed test cases.
Create and execute automated functional and regression test cases, report and document all issues, test cases ran, test results, and testing summaries in detail.
Perform manual testing and data validation.
Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data.
Work with development team and customers to clearly understand the functionality under test to define and implement test case automation and clearly communicate to the team.
Execute performance and accessibility testing.
The QA group supports and facilitates the implementation of all apps/projects in the Texas Education Agency.
