About The Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Software QA Tester to be a key resource on a technical services team. Requirements

  • 7 Years Experience Testing Complex Web Applications
  • 6 Years Automation Experience with Java and TestNG
  • 5 Years Expertise in SQL
  • 4 Years Experience with Playwright
  • 4 Years Experience with Workflow Driven Automation
  • 4 Years Experience with JMeter/WAPT Pro or other Load Testing tool

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Complaint and Case Management System or similar case management system
  • Experience with AI-based testing tools or automation frameworks
  • Strong working knowledge of both Bit bucket and GitHub Copilot skills
  • Previous experience with Zypher Scale preferred
  • Previous experience with Jira preferred
  • 3 Years Experience with GitHub Copilot and Bitbucket Skills

Responsibilities

  • Performs advanced and/or supervisory computer systems analysis and team lead work, administering the daily operations and activities of testing teams within the Quality Assurance (QA) section of IT-SEDS (Information Technology – Statewide Education Data System).
  • Work involves planning, budgeting, and analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing systems.
  • Perform end-to-end testing of CCMS application features without fully defined or detailed requirements
  • Leverage AI tools to generate test estimate, automation test cases, and improve test coverage
  • Work with development team and customers to clearly understand the functionality under test to define and implement test case automation and clearly communicate to the team
  • Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring clear reproduction steps and impact analysis
  • Participant in team discussions to improve testing strategies, quality processes, and delivery timelines
  • Execute performance and accessibility testing
