About The Position

Liberty Healthcare is seeking an experienced healthcare information technology professional for an available full-time Software Product Manager role. This position will serve as a Product Manager for assigned software development projects, collecting and documenting functional requirements, managing scope, and ensuring the functional deliverable meets business needs throughout the product lifecycle. The role acts as the principal interface between business and technology teams, collaborating with program leadership and engaging with key customer stakeholders. Responsibilities also include managing assigned staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, developing training plans, and participating in quality management initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Product Manager for assigned software development projects.
  • Collect, document, and ensure alignment to functional requirements – across accountable business owners, software development team members, and information technology infrastructure and support teams.
  • Manage scope at the outset of a project and adjusts as necessary to meet timeframes and minimal viable product (MVP) objectives – managing risk of delivery, complexity of architecture and time to achieve product delivery and business objectives.
  • Maintain a documented set of future scope considerations – ensuring deferred features are tracked for future consideration.
  • Ultimately responsible for the functional deliverable meeting the agreed business needs of a business operation – leveraging a MVP model of delivery – for the full product lifecycle from inception to rollout to end-of-life.
  • Principal interface between business and technology teams – maintaining an understanding of business requirements and technical capacities and risks.
  • Continuously and proactively collaborate with program leadership to understand program needs and the best approach to delivering a deliverable and responsive solution – consistent with LTS technology standards and capabilities.
  • Direct engagement with key customer stakeholders to ensure alignment of capabilities to business requirements.
  • Manage / supervise assigned staff and contractors assigned to support deployment or support activities. Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements / commitments.
  • Ensure appropriate training paradigms are identified and included in product rollout plans.
  • Ensure resiliency consistent with policy, regulation, and business requirements.
  • Actively participate in developing processes and implementing procedures to increase the quality of services of Liberty Healthcare Quality Management program.
