About The Position

QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting a Software Licensing Specialist to join our team at APG, MD to support our customer, Project Manager Intelligence Systems & Analytics (PM IS&A). This position will be co-located with the customer and other contractors in Government office spaces. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours. QED offers a competitive compensation package for full-time employees. Our total compensation package is value-based and negotiable depending upon the candidate’s specific skills and applicable relevant experience.

Requirements

Detail-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
Direct experience of gathering/eliciting COTS software licensing requirements required.
ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret
Associate (AAS) degree required. Degree may be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
At least three (3) years of related work experience is required.
An additional two (2) years of direct work experience may substitute for the associate degree.

Responsibilities

Gather and elicit Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software licensing requirements from stakeholders and program teams.
Coordinate the procurement of software licenses through various procurement and contracting vehicles.
Review and validate software license requests to ensure requirements are accurate and authorized.
Distribute and track software licenses while maintaining accurate software license baselines and records.
Audit software licensing information and create and maintain Version Description Documents (VDDs).
Coordinate the replication, packaging, and distribution of software media to field locations.
