At General Motors, our product teams are redefining mobility. Through a human-centered design process, we create vehicles and experiences that are designed not just to be seen, but to be felt. We’re turning today’s impossible into tomorrow’s standard —from breakthrough hardware and battery systems to intuitive design, intelligent software, and next-generation safety and entertainment features. Every day, our products move millions of people as we aim to make driving safer, smarter, and more connected, shaping the future of transportation on a global scale. The Role: A SW IRT (Software Issue Resolution Team) is GM’s plant-facing software integration readiness role that owns software-related end-of-line (EOL) and launch quality for a vehicle program and its plants. They capture and analyze build/EOL data, flag and contain faults that impact EFTQ (including creating PRTS and managing DTC ignores via Jira/Deviator), and provide status on on-the-ground software integrator at bench/PPO/plant, driving closure of software issues across engineering and manufacturing so vehicles can be built and shipped with acceptable software quality.
