About The Position

The Software Intern will support the e-Beam division of KLA’s Semiconductor Products and Customers business unit. The e-Beam division develops inspection tools that provide high-resolution insights into wafer defects and critical locations, helping customers identify yield-impacting issues and improve manufacturing processes.

The intern will develop software infrastructure for scalable, robust data analysis and machine-learning applications; design distributed applications; and write clean, elegant code supported by automated tests. The role is based in Milpitas, California. The stated base pay range is $37.00–$49.00 per hour, depending on pursuit of a bachelor’s or master’s degree.

Requirements

• Be a student working toward a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or an engineering field.
• Demonstrate proficiency in C#, Python, or Java.
• Use object-oriented principles and design patterns to develop robust software.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of C++.
• Proficiency developing applications for Linux and Windows.
• Experience with containers and Docker for packaging software services.
• Passion for writing robust, high-efficiency software.
