About The Position

The DCGS-MC Integration team is responsible for the implementation, support, and maintenance of multiple enterprise intelligence software solutions for the United States Marine Corps. Primary responsibilities of software integrators include integrating software into existing system baselines and creating new system baselines. Candidates will also be given opportunities to research and develop innovative solutions for Marine Corps Intelligence applications.

Requirements

HS Diploma/GED with additional years of experience or B.S. in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Mathematics with field of concentration in computer science
CompTia Security+ CE within 6 months of hire
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL databases
Proficient in administration of Windows workstation systems.
Experience with Batch (Windows command line) and Powershell scripting.
Proficient understanding of Computer Science fundamentals in design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot root causes of failures for Windows systems and propose solutions.
Experience with version control systems like Git, SVN, etc.
Basic knowledge of computer networking concepts.
Passion for actively contributing to an Agile development team, offering insight on design, architecture, and implementation of mission critical software systems.
Ability to operate effectively in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources.
Secret level Clearance required

Nice To Haves

TS/SCI level Clearance desired
Experience working within a DevOps and CI/CD environment.
Managing and monitoring Windows or RHEL server resources in a RedHat OpenShift environment.
Experience with the ArcGIS product suite.

Responsibilities

Integrating software into existing system baselines and creating new system baselines.
Research and develop innovative solutions for Marine Corps Intelligence applications.
Communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
Lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
Attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
Work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face.
