About The Position

Serving Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, SageCor Solutions (SageCor) is a growing company bringing complete engineering services and true full lifecycle System Engineering services to areas requiring (or desiring) nationally-recognized expertise in high performance computing, large data analytics and cutting edge information technologies. Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and at least six (6) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
  • OR five (5) years full time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree and have six (6) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
  • Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux suite of tools.
  • Experience developing scripts using Bash/Python to automate administrative tasks and workflows.
  • Experience performing Linux System Administration including installation, configuration, and support of COTS/GOTS/FOSS products, packages, and libraries.
  • Experience sustaining mission applications deployed in a Linux environment.
  • Experience using Git for source control of system configurations.
  • Experience creating CI/CD pipelines/workflows using GitLab CI.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience installing, configuring, and managing package registry COTS products such as Sonatype, Nexus, PyPy, GitLab, JFrog Artifactory, etc.
  • Understanding of software packaging frameworks (maven, pypi, npm, etc.) and their associated artifacts.
  • Experience deploying containerized services under Kubernetes orchestration.
  • Experience with interacting/training external customers.
  • Experience with IaC principles and automation tools such as Ansible.

  • Performing Linux System Administration including installation, configuration, and support of COTS/GOTS/FOSS products, packages, and libraries.
  • Sustaining mission applications deployed in a Linux environment.

  • Creating CI/CD pipelines/workflows using GitLab CI.
  • Using containerization technologies such as Docker.
